European Specialty Tours, Ltd. (B.E.S.T.) has risen to become

tours for choirs. While our competitors are merely travel agents,
who often subcontract their tours out to European travel agencies,
all of our travel professionals are musicians first and we customize

British European Specialty Tours was founded by
David Searles, our President Emeritus. Mr. Searles was the first
foreign Lay Clerk (soloist) with the celebrated Canterbury Cathedral
Men and Boys Choir. His strong musical relationship with British
and European musicians allowed him to bring impeccable credentials
to the matter of bringing American choirs to Britain and Europe.
Having personal friendships with many of the most important musicians
affords B.E.S.T. the ability to provide you with unique “behind
the scenes” opportunities.
Current President, Michael Sylvester, spent 26
years as a leading operatic tenor, performing in all the major opera
houses of the world with many of the finest singers and conductors,
and recording for Sony Classical, Telarc, EMI, Polygram and Arabesque.
Having spent so many years living and traveling in Europe, Mr. Sylvester
brings a wealth of knowledge as well as his finely-honed musical
talents to the task of making every B.E.S.T. tour not only a success,
